PLantparken logo design | Urban agriculture for a sustainable cityscape
Plantparken is an urban farming area and meeting place in Västra Hamnen, Malmö. The project was started in 2011 and serves as a social meeting place for residents and visitors in Västra Hamnen and a knowledge forum for sustainable cultivation on a small surface. PlantParken sprouted from an interest in ecological and social sustainability and an ambition to pass on information and inspiration for urban agriculture.
Logo design and implementations
Malmö city is a creative melting pot shaped as much by its diversity as its working class roots and belief in the collective’s ability to create change. Plantparken embodies this as a place where DIY culture and innovation creates a public space for sharing knowledge and working together for a more sustainable city.
The logo brings together the urban and the organic with a stencil style font inspired by Malmö’s rich underground culture and street art scene intertwined with lush foliage symbolizing the cultivation and growth of both Plantparken’s greenery and the community around it.
